How reviews arrive

Reviews sync from connected stores every hour by default. The first App Store Connect import works through the review history Apple provides. Google Play sends only reviews from the last 7 days, so Uprate imports older ones from the public listing into Resolved. That history can be incomplete, see Store data limits. Older imported reviews never trigger automatic replies.

Reply by hand

Write a reply and click Post reply. Posting needs a store connection with reply permission.

Generate writes an AI draft for you to check and edit. Nothing goes to the store until you post it.

Drafts follow the app's Response style and App knowledge in Automations. Reusable replies live in Response templates. On plans that include templates, the enabled ones also guide AI drafts.

Automatic replies

Turn on Auto-respond to reviews in Automations. By default Uprate then drafts replies to 1 to 3 star reviews. Ratings you mark Auto-publish are posted after the delay you set. The rest stay drafts for you to review.

Uprate looks for new reviews to answer every minute. It skips older imported reviews, hidden or unavailable reviews, reviews that already have a reply or draft, and reviews you resolved or reopened by hand. An automation rule can block a reply or require approval. With approval required, Uprate saves a draft instead of posting.

When the store rejects a reply

A reply you post by hand shows the store's error if it fails. Automatic replies are retried a limited number of times. If Uprate cannot tell whether a reply reached the store, it blocks another send until the next sync confirms the result.

Edit or delete a reply

You can edit a published reply in Uprate. App Store replies can also be deleted in Uprate. Google Play has no API for deleting replies, so delete those in Play Console. Drafts can always be deleted.
