Review numbers
Review counts, average rating and star breakdowns come from the written reviews imported into Uprate. They follow the store, country and dates you select, and they leave out people who only left a star rating. Reviews sync from connected stores every hour by default.
Store ratings
The store ratings in Insights come from the public store listing, so they include ratings without a written review and need no store connection. Uprate captures them once a day, and their history starts with the first capture. Google Play limits what is available per country, see Store data limits.
Store analytics
For the App Store, Presence imports Apple's daily reports: impressions, product page views and Get taps. Conversion is Get taps divided by product page views. This needs an App Store Connect connection with analytics turned on and report access. The first report usually takes one to two days.
For Google Play, Uprate imports crash and app-not-responding rates from the Google Play Developer Reporting API. Each sync covers the last 14 days. Analytics from both stores refresh daily.
Revenue
Revenue comes from monthly sales reports and refreshes weekly. App Store revenue covers the last three finished months and needs a Team key with a Vendor Number. Google Play revenue covers three months including the current one and needs the sales report bucket. See App Store Connect and Google Play.
Topics and Last 7 days
Topics are recalculated weekly from your imported reviews, on plans that include topic analysis.
Last 7 days in Insights refreshes daily. It compares the last seven full days, ending yesterday, with the four weeks before. It looks for spikes in negative reviews, rating drops, recurring complaints and problems tied to an app version.
