Presence is where you work on your app's store listing. Open Presence, pick your app and its App Store or Google Play listing. Presence and publishing are available on plans that include them.

Check and prepare

A sync reads the current listing text from the store. Screenshots are imported separately. Reading never changes the listing.

Listing check shows issues and suggestions from the latest check. For App Store keywords it also flags duplicates and words already used in the app name or subtitle. It tells you when your copy has changed since the check ran.

You can prepare copy per language, edit suggestions and accept changes. Accepted changes wait in Uprate until you publish them.

Keyword research and rank checks do not change the listing. App Store keywords show rank history. Google Play keywords do not show ranks.

Publish changes

You publish from the list of pending changes and confirm where they go. An app on both stores has a separate publish action for each.

On the App Store, Uprate writes the changes into an editable version in App Store Connect. That does not submit the version for review or release it.

On Google Play, Uprate sends the changes to the listing. If the app uses Google's review or Managed publishing, people see them later.

After publishing, Uprate shows which changes went through, which are still processing and which failed. Failed changes stay pending. If Uprate cannot tell whether Google Play accepted a change, sync the listing before you try again.

Screenshots and icons

Presence links to the screenshot and icon generators. You can import the store's screenshots and add, remove or reorder images in a set. Preparing images does not publish them. On Google Play you publish a new icon on its own with Use on Google Play. On the App Store the icon comes from your app build.
